In accordance with the Ohio Golf Association requirements for posting handicaps, ICC will begin accepting score cards on March 15th and will continue to do so through October 31st. The handicap reporting season is established by the OGA and as a member course, ICC is required to comply with these dates. The bi-monthly schedule for posting handicaps can be found on the information board located on the front of the building.
Please enter the first and last name of each golfer on your score cards. This eliminates any confusion when entering scores in the system.
ICC is registered with the USGA and the OGA as a licensed handicap provider. As a licensed member, ICC now follows the handicap reporting dates as set forth by the Ohio Golf Association (OGA). All handicaps generated by the ICC system are now considered official USGA handicaps for tournament purposes. If you need a print out of your official handicap, please see Jim Woods in the pro shop.
The handicap system used at the club is updated periodically based on what has been entered into the computer on a daily basis. They are then calculated by the computer and stored in the system. They are calculated and "backed up" each week and then updated to the web site on the 15th and 30th of each month.
The handicaps posted on the web are taken directly from the system as it is updated and may differ from what is posted in the pro shop. Those posted in the pro shop will be considered the latest "official" handicaps and members are to use those handicap numbers for all matches, etc. If you would like to see how a USGA handicap is calculated, click on the "Handicap Calculation" link to the left.
Also, please enter the first and last name of each golfer on your score cards. This eliminates any confusion when entering scores in the system. Thanks!!
Junior member golfers will be restricted to 4 man groups on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays after 12:00 PM.
Proper attire for golfers is required at all times even during the off season and winter months. Club rules are posted in the clubhouse and on this web site (see the link at the left). All male golfers are to wear shirts with collars at all times while on the course.
The rule as established by the board of trustees is as follows:
"No person shall be permitted on the course, on the putting green or the driving range without 'proper attire' ". Proper attire includes shirts with collars. Shorts, slacks (pants), etc. must be appropriate and in reasonable repair."
ICC appreciates your cooperation.
